As you all know, Cottie Petrie-Norris is facing a daunting challenge for her seat in the State Assembly from Diane Dixon, former Mayor and current City Councilwoman from Newport Beach who is a staunch opponent of women’s reproductive rights. Please tell your friends how important this race is for all of us and ask them to join the chat with Cottie.  Cottie supports our cause wholeheartedly and has been a fabulous advocate not only for choice, but for all of her constituents’ issues.

Because this is a free event, we ask that you donate to Cottie what you have save by joining our free chat rather than attending a WIL lunch, and more if you are able.  We hope to return to our live lunch format soon, once medical and public health experts deem it is safe for us to meet face to face. And please renew your membership in WIL, or join for the first time if you are not a member.  2020 is a critical year for women. Membership dues are what funds all our donations to WIL candidates – the more members WIL has, the more funds we donate. WIL’s donations can make a difference in whether we have, or keep, women in office fighting for us.  If you want to preserve reproductive rights for yourself, your children and your grandchildren, this is the time to act!
