Come hear WIL's three endorsed House candidates share tales from the campaign trail and tell us about their plans to make a difference in Washington.
What a treat for us to be able to introduce our members and supporters to all three of the House candidates WIL has endorsed in the 2024 primary!
Allyson Muñiz Damikolas is a chemical engineer and a mom. In 2020, she defeated a 24-year incumbent to win a seat on the Tustin Unified School Board. Now she's running to unseat Young Kim in the 40th Congressional district.
Kim Bernice Nguyen was the youngest person elected to the Garden Grove City Council. Currently nearing the end of her second term in that office, Kim is running to replace Michelle Steel as the representative for the 45th district.
Joanna Weiss is a former litigator and adjunct professor at Chapman University School of Law, and she is the founder and past president of WAVE Action Fund. Joanna is running for the open seat in District 47 currently held by Katie Porter.
Please join us for a conversation with these three terrific candidates about what's it's like to run for Congress as a woman in 2024 and their plans to improve the lives of Orange County families as members of Congress.
Space is limited and this event promises to be popular so don't wait to RSVP!
