WIL is excited to welcome back Founding Dean Boden-Albala, UC Irvine Joe C. Wen School of Population & Public Health, for an important conversation about women's health

Founding Dean Bernadette Boden-Albala knows the impact of underfunding healthcare – it is not a new problem in her field. But now it has become a full-blown crisis due to federal funding cuts to research and higher education, which affects women’s health and reproductive rights.
She also understands how these cuts are especially damaging to women's health, putting us all at risk.
Bernadette is the Founding Dean of the UC Irvine Joe C. Wen School of Population & Public Health. She spoke to us in January of last year and we learned that she is not only an expert on public health, but also entertaining, funny, dynamic and interesting.
She's a New Yorker, born and bred, now transplanted to Orange County. We are lucky to count her as a WIL friend and thrilled that she has agreed to return for this vital and timely conversation about women's health.
