Constitutional sex equality after Dobbs
Planning to spend March 6 waiting for the Orange County Registrar website to refresh at 5pm? We have a better idea!
Come hear Courtney Cahill - another amazing UCI law professor (bio here) - discuss some of the fascinating subjects she researches, including constitutional sex equality in the wake of Dobbs, the role of disgust in the passage of laws surrounding abortion and LGBTQ rights, and the use of criminal topless laws to enforce female sex subordination.
Professor Cahill is a two-time Dukeminier Award winner and has notably published or will be publishing in the Yale Law Journal, Harvard Law Review, Michigan Law Review, Northwestern University Law Review, Georgetown Law Journal, Minnesota Law Review, and North Carolina Law Review, among other journals.
She is a dynamic speaker and real expert in fields that are of great interest to WIL, and we are truly excited to have her as a guest speaker. We hope you'll join us!
