The recent troubling turn of events on the Supreme Court, the fate of Roe v. Wade and the future of women’s reproductive rights will be the topic of our next WIL lunch.

Are we to return to the time when abortions were illegal and women were kept in their place?

What are the hopes for saving womens’ right to self-autonomy?  

Professor Leah Litman is an expert on the Supreme Court and federal powers. She was a clerk for retired Justice Kennedy. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Michigan Law School where she served as Editor in Chief of the Law Review. She is now a Professor at the School of Law at UCI
