WIL is excited to welcome Kathy Spillar, Executive Director of the Feminist Majority and Executive Editor of Ms. Magazine

As the Executive Director of the Feminist Majority Foundation, Kathy serves as the Executive Editor of Ms. Magazine (Gloria Steinem’s old job!). Under her oversight, Ms. has increased its investigative reporting and today is one of the largest print and online feminist news sites reaching readers from across the globe.
Shortly after Steinem’s recent passing, Kathy wrote and published this heartfelt obituary which honors the activist who inspired a generation of women and explains how the Feminist Majority became the publisher of Ms. Magazine.
Kathy is a dynamic speaker and the expert that Rachel Maddow and other TV hosts turn to for accurate information on feminist issues.
