A conversation with Supervisor Katrina Foley about the state of our county, how our tax dollars are being invested, and who might control the board after 2026

Our County Board of Supervisors seems to be a hot mess. We’re seeing corruption and chaos, with most of the Board – except Katrina – unwilling to take measures to prevent it or even deal with it.
So what exactly is going on behind the scenes? Katrina will fill us in on the turmoil within county government, why it matters to ALL of us, and how she sees it ending.
Katrina will also talk about her race for reelection against Diane Dixon, a Newport Beach Assemblywoman who is well-funded by PACS and donors who oppose reproductive rights, environmental protections and many other things we care about.
This is the most consequential race on the primary ballot. Even with a spoiler candidate in the running, the new Fifth District supervisor will likely be chosen in June.
The Board of Supervisors controls more than you can imagine in Orange County. As we’ll hear from Katrina, a change in the majority can negatively impact countless aspects of our lives.
Don’t miss the great food, great company and an important conversation with one of the most powerful local decision-makers about the future of Orange County.
Note that we will be meeting in a new venue - the lovely Crowne Plaza Hotel on Bristol, conveniently located near the 405 and South Coast Plaza.
